What would you like to know about your medicines?
What information about our medicines do we need if we are going to make informed decisions about our medicine taking?
There is surprisingly little consensus on this very important question. But what we do know is that having high quality, relevant and useful information is crucial in helping us make these important decisions.
In order to answer this key question Datapharm worked with organisations in the voluntary sector on this online questionnaire. All of us want to make sure that the information we publish is the information you need. We can't talk to everyone who uses medicines, so we are working together on a project to find out what people really want to know about their medicines.

Medicines shortages survey
Medicines shortages have become an important issue for patients, healthcare professionals, the NHS and the manufacturers. The causes of these shortages have however been difficult to determine.
Datapharm conducted a survey in October 2009 on our Medicine Guides site, asking users of the site to share their experiences, if any, of medicine shortages in the recent past. This information was shared with the UK medicines regulator (MHRA), the National Pharmacy Association, the Department of Health, representatives of the pharmaceutical industry and others to ensure that the experiences of medicine users are taken into account in planning any actions to resolve the shortages.
